Personally i whole up in my house until everyone else left the city. Then i would raid homes when everyone is gone. No fear of zombies when no one is in town.

In my dreams i would get the metal thing off a tetherball and beat the **** out of all the zombies, realistically ofc, I would either be the first ones to go, or get all the food and hide in my attic waiting until the end... D:

My suggestion to surviving would be to get a katana, some light armor, a revolver for emergencies and a whole lot of friends with a similar set of equipment why simply because.
-Power in numbers
-Katanas last a really long time
-Zombies can't bite through armor
-Revolvers can fire six shots before you need to reload the good old shotgun only one or two shot before it needs to be reloaded
-last but not least you would look awesome in armor with a revolver and a katana and even if you get zombified the survivors will all be saying"Hey look at that awesome zombie lets try to tame it!"

If it were a zombie apocalypse I would go for swords knives and bows as swords and knives can't run out of ammo and I can make working arrows, as I live in England guns are few and far between and so picking up a weapon that has few successful shots is just dead weight. after I have those few weapons (from my bedroom) I would go to my local pharmacy an collect medical supplies, after this I would find my living friends and family and head out of town to the farm house not far from the outskirts of town. I would then proceed to create a vegetable patch and a boiler to heat and clean water, after this I would then live out my life with my friends and family until it all blows over.
