Can't delete worlds

when i delete a world it goes away until i restart minecraft, the worlds then redownload. how do i delete them permanently?

Hmmmm. This is an interesting problem. Have you tried updating Minecraft? If not, update to the latest version possible, and try to delete the world and then log out, and back into your account. Hope this helps. :)
