I've tried taking off VBOS, etc, nothing works. Whenever I get on Minecraft the menu screen is extremely laggy, and when I join a server it automatically crashes. Please help?

There are many different things that can cause this crash.
Could you explain some of them?
Also, I can run other games perfectly fine L4D2 etc but Minecraft is just so laggy for me.
Also, I can run other games perfectly fine L4D2 etc but Minecraft is just so laggy for me.
This is because of a memory leak caused by Intel's drivers (i.e. faulty drivers). This mainly affects 7th to 9th Generation Intel HD Graphics (ig7xxxxx.dll, ig8xxxxx.dll, ig9xxxxx.dll) which ships with 3rd Generation to 6th Generation Intel Core Processors.
Update your graphics card drivers, if that doesn't work force minecraft to run on your dedicated graphic card (If you have one).

is the server on the same machine?
If you mean on Minecraft, it is.
