Im well aware the port doesnt have to be 24555, i am the host of it and its home hosted, i cant figure out how to access it correctly and do i need to port forward it in a different way than a minecraft server?

Are you using a host?

the :25565 port does not matter for having a dynmap. I know this because our server runs one however we run out of port :25727. Dynmap does have other random default ports if the :8123 port is being used already, I would suggest trying :8124, :8125, :2556, and :2557. If none of those work, you could also contact mikeprimm on the dynmap github page, hes pretty good at fixing problems with dynmaps - https://github.com/webbukkit/dynmap

Edit: You should ask your server host (if you are using one) to check the ports on your tower to see which ones are being used, and they would be able to find which port is running the dynmap for your server

You need a server ip with 25565 otherwise it won't work

make sure you have a dedicated server as in the port is the default 25565 not a different one cause as far as i know dynmap only works on dedicated ips dont know if this is the problem but its the one thing i can think of
