I am running FTB Infinity Evolved modpack and I am attempting to install Thut's Elevators from Curse (http://mods.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/224375-thuts-elevators) when I kept having my client crash. Originally, the error report was as follows: http://pastebin.com/56s8gJgf I found the version of the mod that would work with MC 1.7.1 before trying to install that particular one.

I was told that I would need to install OpenComputers to fix the issue as there was an issue with my OpenComputers API. Before grabbing a download of OpenComputers, the client would barely be open a couple seconds before crashing which generated the error report above but with the OpenComputers mod installed, the client almost finished its start up sequence before it crashed yet again giving me this error report: http://pastebin.com/G5u66dAB

I only recently started playing Minecraft, using Infinity, a couple months ago so I'm not sure what the crash report means or what I should do to fix it.

System logs: http://pastebin.com/ai7XHzPZ. According to the FTB launcher, I am running FTB Infinity Evolved 1.7 (v2.5.0) Minecraft Version 1.7.10

I will attempt to use AE2 rv2 and then see if it that helps. If that does not, then I will work on the Ender IO. I will update this post as I find out more.

Edit: Alright I attempted to use AE2 rv2 and my client said that I would need to use at least version rv3.1. I downloaded and installed rv.3.4, which my client originally was using rv.3.5. It almost loaded up with 6/7 when it crashed again. Report: http://pastebin.com/FuZ16LH8 I did a little searching and it appears I have the latest version of EnderIO which is 1.7.10-2.3.0.424.

I have done some more researching, using what you've helped me learn so far and I have quite a few different varieties of mod version combinations that I am going to try and see if I can find the magic numbers to make this work.

Edit 2: I have been able to eliminate the Ender IO section of the crash report by changing around some mod versions and my client will almost load up again before crashing. This time, the header mentions 'array index out of bounds exception' and something about a 'game registry:unique identifier" http://pastebin.com/QcgaJS9i

The version of Ender IO you're using is build against the rv2 version of the AE2 API while you are using the rv3 version, so I would say try to downgrade your AE2 API or update Ender IO.

Disabling Applied Energistics causes the client to be unable to load, detailing that 'logs/fml-client-latest' will have a crash report so I don't believe disabling AE helped any. I have been trying to get this mod to work in concert with FTB Infinity since mid April. If I keep running into problems trying to integrate it, should I just give up on it?

Also, how should I go about attempting to fix the AE issue? Searching on Google did little to help me. Should I attempt to update AE?

Got this from it:

EnderIO: Found the following problem(s) with your installation:
* An unknown AE2 API is installed (rv3 from appliedenergistics2-rv3-beta-5.jar).
Ender IO was build against API version rv2 and may or may not work with a newer version.
This may have caused the error. Try reproducing the crash WITHOUT this/these mod(s) before reporting it.
