Been working on an item in IntelliJ and got most of it all down, however, the texture won't show and I'm pretty sure it's the cause of the JSON file.
So here's the code I've made for it, see if you guys can find what's wrong with it.
Here's what I'm trying to add as my texture.

Hurts man. Bug fixes have to be made.
Also, when it's done can you make it so I can download it? It seems great!

You might need an ‘overrides’ element..
{
"parent": "item/generated",
"textures": {
"layer0": "items/diamond"
},
"overrides":[
{"predicate": {"custom_model_data":1}, "model":"cia/item/ruby"}
]
}

Hate to say this but you’re a bit to late for I did solve the issue.
But, if you know about Fabric I can use your help in figuring out the program.
I can contact you here or on something like Discord.
