Ok so I have this private server for me and my friends, but Im having trouble finding a specific command. I am currently using essentials, and permissionsex, and I have ranks set up, but I need to know if I can set up a spawn for everyone without going though and setting a group spawn for all the ranks. Im using bukkit dev build for 1.7.2. thanks

Make sure you have EssentialsSpawn.jar in your plugins folder. Otherwise the /setspawn won't work.

True, well without looking at your groups in essentials, you need to first create a group for the players, so for example make a group called "default" which every new player will be in. Then in game as a OP type /setspawn default and it should assign that location to the default group. If you have it disabled on beds location then they will all spawn there when they die or join as new players.

We'll so far i know, you can do is "/setspawn [groupname]" and it sets a spawn for the group.
and ofcourse "/setspawn" for all
"/setspawn newbies" (by default) for the new players.
