How do i add ranks to vanilla?
I Know it is something to do with the scoreboard, i know how to make the "team" and change the color but i don't know how to make the prefix of the rank?

yopugiscool yeah i must not have picked up on that vanilla or bukkit part. thanks for finishing the thought. hope we were helpful and goodluck with the server!
chandleraustin is right, though if you have a vanilla server, you really can't have any plugins or ranks. If you want to have these things, you will need to upgrade to a bukkit server. I'm not sure what OS you are running, but you can lookup "How to make a bukkit server on [Insert your OS here]".

Use a permissions plugin. Download it from Bukkit. Most server owners use Essentials Group Manager & PEX. I recommend Group Manager because it's most simple.
