I don't understand how all these horrible servers are always getting featured in about 2 weeks after their posted. While I'm trying really hard to promote a good server but every time I bump it i get about 10 people and then my server submission gets buried in a sea of servers. I just don't understand.

[1]Get alot of views.
[2]Get clear and good idea for the Server.
[3]Make good spawn and buildings.
[4]Make clear and good Rules.
[5]Make it so your players won't get bored in few hours.
[6]Make good Banner, good Forums,(Example Enjin)

Enjin sucks. Most servers use it just because its the easy way out.

take a peek.
take a peek.
There are two ways to get on the pop reel. One have alot of views, diamonds, favorites, etc on other projects, create a project, and then get around 400 views within like a hour. That will guarantee it.
"It seems the only servers to ever get featured are the same ol hunger games, walls, paintball and many of the other similar one"

This is because they are original. When my server comes out, it may make the pop reel because it is a original idea.

Things on the popular reel, as far as I know are computer picked, I think based on views in a certain amount of time or something.
That's the point I'm trying to make!
Do you guys know how a server gets to the "popular server" banner on the main page? I keep seeing servers there which have been up less than a month, have few diamonds, few votes, and lots of negative comments. I don't know why PMC considers them "popular" when they're often garbage. Maybe by "popular" PMC means "pays money for advertising on PMC"? If that's the case, I sure would like to konw how to sign my (actually good) server up.
Yeah, thats what I've been trying to do. It seems the only servers to ever get featured are the same ol hunger games, walls, paintball and many of the other similar one. It seems no one wants to play regular minecraft anymore.
Basically you either get a TON of views as soon as you make it, or you have to have a very large community, and be very popular. It takes alot of work, more then just clicking the bump submission. Make custom maps, have very good staff, and build up your community.
I've been doing this. Nothing works
