A few years back I joined a server that had virtual currency displayed where the boss bar would be but it was a resource pack that showed how much money and claim blocks one had. Had its own icons and everything. It was much better than Leaderboards.
I looked all over google to see if this type of thing still existed but i can't find it anywhere at all.
I was wondering if anyone has found or made such a thing available for the public.

resource packs only change the look of the game, so adding a custom scoreboard to track currency for example would require a datapack. Custom functions however are limited to the /trigger command. So custom named commands, such as /bal, would require a mod.
In other words, you could make/have a datapack that tracks currency for players.
