Hey PMC Community,
We got a big Problem:
After houres we spent houres and houres on building a Minecraft Map on a Siphot 1.7.10 - 1.8.1 local Server with those Plugins:
- Worldedit
- Essentials (spawn, chat, anticheat... )
- Multiverse
we thought to shut the server down for a little. (with saving the map 2 times using /save-all and stopping the server using /stop)
The next day we wanted to continue building everything was gone (we started the server as usual).
We built on a Super Flat map using the Preset Classic Flat.
We also searched the whole Map but we found nothing!
Since then we tried tirelessly to get it working with mcedit and various other minecraft-chunk-fixing programms but we noticed the a complete Region (~256 Chunks) is just gone! McEdit sais it couldn't be loaded ("Chunk not present").
But when you try and load the Map in SP/MP and get to that Region 'hole' it just regenerates as an Classic Flat Piece of Region (without any buildings).
We're 100% sure that were in the right spot of the Map (where we built).
Maybe this could be usefull too:
- Since we began building the Map on another Server, we exported the beginning as a Schematic and imported it in our Server (where we continued to build)
- unfortunatly every other Chunk in MCEdit loaded up perfectly fine (at least wich could be loaded)
- We tried everything from MCEdit Region fixer to other Chunk Fix Programms
-> but it still didn't work out well
