My favourite survival world keeps lagging but it doesn't happen to my other worlds, why? I havedone a lot of things to make my survival world lag less like - removing redstone contraptions and a lot of stuff. including removing big builds, reducing size of animal farm and crops deactivating hoppers when not in use, using lower graphics settings too. It helped a bit but it still lags more than my other worlds. My world gets smooth when I go away from my house.. I don't know how to fix it. Also, my world is a kinda big (350+mb) <--Is this part of the problem? Let me know.

You may want to delete region files that have not been used for over a month.

What is a region file? And how do I know if it's not been used for months?

Hi, a region file(s) is found within your .minecraft folder. Where you save your worlds and install your texture packs.
Choose the "saves" folder then choose the "region" folder and the file itself resembles this: "r.1.1.mca"
You can see the dates when the files were made and choose which ones to delete. (of course keep a backup)

Have you had it for a long time? Maybe loading older worlds much later than they were made destabilizes them. You may just have to copy the seed and remake it but idk.

The world was created in 1.13.2 and updated to 1.16.1. But I started experiencing lag in 1.15.2.
