Need Some Texture Help
Hello, PMC. This is my first day on here, so I may have put this in the wrong area, but I've been having some troubles with a texture pack I'm trying to make, and I thought the community may be able to help. :)
I'm trying to add a high resolution image as a texture for an item. As a test/example, I tried making the diamond look like a pale ore from Hollow Knight. Every time I put a high resolution image as a texture, the main part of the texture renders correctly, but for some reason the top of the item is transparent, or the texture doesn't render correctly
.
The edges of the texture are transparent, and the inside of the item can be seen. Is there any way I can fix this?
Thanks!

That's becouse game accepts semi-transparent pixels on the item textures
My solution for this is to copy the main layer a few times in image editing program (Paint.net for example) to make the pixels more opaque and then flatten and save the image

Try opening the texture in an image editing software and apply a threshold alpha effect.
Basically adjust the alpha channel so it's "all or nothing"

Thank you so much, this worked like a charm. I appreciate it.
