Possible problems of compatibility of MC edit 1.0 with new PC(2021)

I have bought a new PC is Windows , im a builder and i use mc edit 1.0 with minecraft 1.8.9 , in my old pc MC edit 1.0 is fully functional but not in the new PC , if i do double click on MC edit open just for 2 second and close the program automatically , i start to think is a problem of incompatibility (maybe software is too old) i have tryed to dowload others MC edit 1.0 and happens the same , Is it possible to make old software compatible on newer PCs?

There should be no issues with running version 1 of MCEdit, even on Windows 10 either 32 or 64 bit. However, I would recommend trying out MCEdit 2, which can edit maps from Minecraft 1.0.0 to 1.12.2. You can download from here : https://www.mcedit.net/downloads.html If you are going to edit maps beyond 1.12.2, then you will need Amulet, available here : https://www.amuletmc.com/

Amulet is very similar to MCedit 1.0?

The problem is tath i found world edit to difficoult i hop e amulet is not difficoult, amulet have very similar options like mc edit ? Is possible to use in 1.17?

Amulet will work with 1.17.x worlds as far as I know.
MCEdit versions 1 and 2 will only edit worlds up to MC 1.12.2. Worlds created in MC 1.13.x and onward are only editable with Amulet.
