Server list keeps disappearing!
Hi, this has happened to me on a number of occasions and is highly annoying! My entire list of servers disappear randomly. This is the fifth time it has happened, and is really starting to annoy me. Just now, I was looking at my list of servers, went to the main menu, and back into the server list and they had all disappeared. Anyone know if this is a known bug? I have no mods installed, and it is really puzzling. Any help/information would be greatly appropriated, thanks -Jack

Help this happened to me also and I actually do have mods loads of them but not on 1.710 [that's where it happened] please I could use some help
This just happened to me as well but i have the tekknic launch pack but i have not used that for some time.
Delete your minecraft.jar, and reinstall. Make sure to go in and save anything you want to keep. If that doesn't work, I'm a a total loss here.

It is a issue.
It is that some problem on your temporary files, they just disappear.
It may be a hardware issue but definitely not a software one.

Still looking for help, anyone have any ideas how I might be able to fix this?
Shall I delete and re-download minecraft? That might fix it, right?
keep an eye on your .minecraft
make a server, any IP and name.
if a server.dat appears, this is your problem.

???? server.dat stores all the servers that you have on minecraft.
No mods installed?
what about any clients, or even resource packs?
Aside form that I'd have no clue.... nothing should be messing with those files unless you are deleting them on accident.

No, nothing... I certainly haven't deleted my servers folder, I hardly ever open it since I only play with a fresh, standard client.
