Server says invalid player data when new players join

Are there any plugins, mods, etc? And what software is it?

I'm not sure because he or she didn't provide me with much information. All he or she said was that when new players joined it said invalid player data. He or she also wiped the player data.

Huh, weird. I thought it would be corruption of the playerdata files, but if it's happening to new players, that probably isn't the case....

For anyone having this issue even after clearing playerdata, resetting plugin configs, ect. The issue came from a plugin confliction with the server properties. For my case this was with Ultra Region's default gamemode feature and "force-gamemode" in the server properties. To fix this all you need to do is disable force-gamemode.

This is most likely a conflicting plugin.
In vanilla servers, the data would be valid enough for new players to play without any corruption
