I have two factor authentication turned on for my account. However, I notice that there aren't any backup options in case my phone is broken, lost or stolen.
What can I do to recover my account if I lose my phone?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) for Windows logon and Remote Desktop (RDP) can be implemented by combining traditional username/password authentication with a second authentication factor such as a one-time passcode (OTP), biometrics, or a hardware token.

In the end I chose to disable 2FA on my account in favour of a more secure password instead. I am not willing to enable it if it turns out that there will be no backup options for it.
2FA is strongly recommended, but not at the expense of the account owner if the phone is lost. I will need a form of backup recovery if I want to use it.

Sorry, that's not the point of the post. The point is, will I be able to get into my account during the time where my phone is lost? If not, will I be able to contact support, and how can I prove to them that I own the account?

Try to contact the support or try to find the special codes(to prove that's your device0
