Where the heck is the Banner Duplication recipe in the source code?

I'm trying to create a variant datapack on the banner duplication recipe, but I can't find the actual recipe itself. Just to be clear, I'm not talking about the file under recipes labeled Banner_Duplicate. I found that easily enough.
I'm trying to figure out where the actual bit of code that little line activates is. Does anyone know how to find it, or at least which other file it's in?

You want to change a banner recipe? The recipe is inside the Java code. You cannot change it using data packs.

Not a loom recipe, I'm trying to create a variant on the duplication recipe you can do with a regular crafting table.

You cannot do that too, because it's NBT-based crafting. Same answer.
