As you know we are getting a mob vote this year, in fact it's going to be this Saturday, so I thought to ask you for your vote ahead of time! Tell me what you would vote for, & a comment explaining your option if you want.

What does the Glare do?

Well, what we know so far is the glare would alert the player to areas that are dark enough to cause monsters to spawn by flying into those darkened areas and settling into it as a bit of an indication. Which is quite useful if you’ve had a hard time telling which areas of darkness are monster spawners. Some say that the [F3] mode for Java already exists, but keep in mind, using [F3] mode, you'll still have to search for these dark areas yourself, as oppose to having a mob find them for you that easily.

What does the Allay do?

So far we know that the Allay would help the player by giving them the same item, or similar items to the one the player had given to it. Plus this mob also seems to like music, which makes it dance, and seemingly might even give it a bit of a boost! Pretty neat.

What does the Copper Golem do?

Last on our list is the Copper Golem! Now, unlike the other two, the copper golem doesn't seem to have much about it other than that it will eventually oxidize, which will turn it into a statue, and it also likes to press copper buttons, though I predict it might also function as a smaller version of the golem, buuut take my word with a grain of salt, because it hasn't been confirmed to do so to begin with.

It's not bad, but I feel like the other mobs have more to offer. I won't be mad if any of the mobs win though

i hope he dosent rig if glare wins i want a pet bush oh and i want a plush of it i would not be mad if the copper golem wins because plush allay i think every one thinks its a item duplicator and then its going to win and every one will be mad

I would have gone for the iceologer last year if the my expirience from the first mob vote where we voted for the phanotm nuged me into not voting for hostile mobs because of the phantom.

the Alley picks up dropped items and brings them to the player if the player specifically gives them the block they want the Alley to bring back

I want the Allay, but copper is (basically) useless, so having a use for it that is worthwhile wouldn't be the worst thing. I will rage if the Glare wins though. It is useless! I mean we have a way to tell.

Its definitely between the copper golem and the allay, but I just feel like people are overestimating the allay. It doesn't just randomly produce a new item for you, it has to find that item, dropped on the ground in order for it to bring it back, so you cant just throw it a diamond and have it bring you back a diamond, unless there is one, DROPPED, nearby

I feel like the copper golem has the most potential of things that you can do with, but the community sees it as a new golem no one asked for and a button which no one asked for. While the Allay looks appealing because Jens says "I won't have to collect again," making people think it just magically makes items or something but where in reality, the Allay can only pick up dropped items, only making it good for some cool and fun redstone contraptions. The copper golem is a built in randomizer that can become a statue for decoration as well as adds a new button which might have a new pulse length (hopefully from Mumbo's wishes) which could also be used in adding those miniscule details that separate a good build from a great build. Basically, the point I am trying to get across is think of what this vast, active, and intelligent community can do with each mob, and what potential it stores. Can the community do more awesome stuff with the glare, the allay, or the copper golem? You get to choose Saturday.
Note: I didn't try to be passive aggressive so don't be offended if I sound like it,. I'm not gonna kill you if you don't vote for what I think is the right decision. In fact, I won't be mad if any mob wins, I'm just giving some food for thought.

The Copper Golem, since it'd be really useful for randomizing Redstone, with it randomly pressing copper buttons. Plus, I just really like how it looks.

Ideas I can think with a copper golem:
1)if someone needs to load a chunk for them to move it might be theoretically possible to setup a auto turret system or tnt system with a dispenser
granted you might lose some tnt/arrows/fireball charges from being in the chunk to make it but u can create an auto defence system for a base u dont use often on servers
best use is probably in factions or Anarchy servers
Theoretically It might be possible to set it ona timer usuing a minecart or if it doesnt fit, use a boat system and cob webs
(A)- Could be used to defend the Loaded chunk pearl method, incase someone stumbles into one of the loaded pearl locations u wont be completely defenseless
2) Statues for decoration
3) Auto-matic DJ As mentioned by my other comment, if u make a note block system that imitates real world music it might be able to automatically repeat them by pressing a button and using a timer to move the golem around (maybe in a minecart or some other timing method) for however long the music is to restart it once it finishes

(A)-useful for maps and personal Themes when entering a base or custom maps
imagine a scarry sound effect playing when entering a custom made Ancient castle or ruins
(B)-Players might be able to create a custom Set of music by using the ais ability to target unpressed buttons (In theory)
(Temporary but still a cool idea)

5) Possibly throw snowballs into end crystals by pressing a button with a dispenser and a timer device
