Are contests on PMC based on who gets the most diamonds?

If contests on PMC are based on diamonds, it is completely unfair. A good entry could be overlooked for having low diamonds. A crappy, over-advertised entry with 50 diamonds. If contests are based on diamonds, then only the judges should be able to diamond the entries. All someone has to do is make 100 profiles, and they have 100 diamonds. It's unfair.

If you have another account on the same IP, you actually can't diamond your submissions. (I know because my brother used an account on PMC, but his stuff was deleted because some bright mod out there thought it was an alt.)

No offence dude, but are you in a bad mood today? You've two posts complaining about something on PMC. I'm not trying to sound bossy or mean, but you need to settle down take a deep breath and maybe get off the Internet for a while cause I'm sure people don't want to hear what you think is unfair ( It also doesn't make a very good name for yourself). Now I'm not trying to sound or make you do anything it's just a suggestion.
and plus you can't even make alt accounts i like who would wanna buy 100 computers if you ever think PMC can trace down ips so if your using 1 computer for all these alts account think about your ip your really good account will get banned even if you lie point is don't lie and don't make any alt accounts
Top 100 finalists are determined by diamonds (judge diamonds are weighed more heavily too in calculating finalists), but the order those top 100 place in is determined by judge scores in areas of Concept & Originality and Technique & Execution.

On another note, levels are also a problem, since lots of people don't look at low level members, yet they can make great skins, projects, and more.
While the high ranks make horrible skins and get more attention since of their high levels.

They are NOT based on diamonds, they are based on; Concept, Originality, and Execution, usually the better ones get more diamonds, hence the misconception.
Actually, I'm pretty sure the original judging is based off of judge diamonds, community diamonds and other statistics.
Diamonds may be a factor, but it is the concept, originality, and execution more, If I recall from that talk with a judge.
Yeah, that is true for the finals, but not for the original
