I totally forgot that hostile mobs do not spawn there! I for sure will end up moving there as it's right next to the main land I can easily access anything I need.

agreed. Get some saplings and some way to get food and move there(for, as you know, monsters don't spawn on these biomes). I would love it if you build a base and put up some pic's. These biomes are super rare. In my, about, 1 year of playing minecraft, i have yet to find one of these biomes.
