The Player punches his first tree. Only a few Endermen remained in the overworld and even fewer in the Nether. Nether portals on the surface had decayed and new civilizations had begun such as the friendly Villagers, the evil Illagers and the jealous Piglins. The Player was a descendant of the Ancient Builders. He could break blocks and place them. The Player was smarter than the Villagers and he was curious too. He built huge redstone contraptions and explored the world. The Endermen realised this and only attacked if provoked. The Endermen also tried to communicate with the Player but it was no use. They could only hope that the Player would understand himself. Soon, the Player did understand. He learnt to brew potions and enchant weapons. He learnt to make huge structures and go to the Nether and make Eyes of Ender. But most importantly, he learnt to slay the Ender Dragon and free the End, once and for all.
