The servers are down so I decided to mess around with villages on flat world. So I started up a game, and found this...

Tried using IMG but the picture gets half cut off. The mountain chunk itself isn't that huge but its too big to view with fog set on far.
Has anyone ever encountered this?

Its happened to me before, hope jeb will fix it on 1.4.

Ummm... I've seen things like it, on default biome sometimes there are black holes in the ground allowing you to see with X-ray but they reform before you can get to them and I've seen mountains perish before of my eyes, but never on super flat, have you tried mining into it? Try to find ores?
