How do you feel about the Rose replacement?
So, as you may know, Mojang is replacing Roses with Poppies in Minecraft 1.7.
I am sad about this, because the Poppy texture just doesn't fit into Minecraft in my opinion.
So how do you feel about it?

I don't really see the big deal with it. Its not like I pay attention to them anyways.

Why not just use 1.6.4 rose texture and rename it Rose.

I like it when mojang adds things to minecraft, but i hate it when they remove or replace something, i am really sad that roses, which have been in the game forever, are being removed. Why do they even need to remove roses? Minecraft is not supposed to be realistic, and the new bushes just look like tomatoes for gods sake.
I never rlly used roses. I dont like how they grow singularly rather than in groups though -.-

Although I like the new Poppies, I am really sad roses are going. They were in Minecraft for years and now they will be gone.
The addition of beautiful rose bushes compensates for the change in texture
I kinda enjoyed seeing Iron Golems and Zombies Picking up and holding Roses. other then that I wasn't a big fan of it.
I dream about the day when Mojang stops adding random things and half-thought-out ideas and actually starts adding real content to revitalize gameplay. I became bored with MC over a year ago, and the only update that sparked my interest at all after that was the jungle/temple one. Adding new biomes is a step in the right direction, but knowing Mojang that will just end up as another half-formed concept.

True, True... And we can also always just use mods.
Well, you don't even need to do that. I didn't feel like making a singular flower texture that was facing forwards and to the side. I eventually just changed the name back to rose in my pack. Problem solved.
I'm fine with it. I never really used roses for much besides decoration. I think the addition of new flowers compensates for it, though.
