Do you guys have an order on how you do things? like do you go out to find wood first?

HI IM GLAD U ARE INTERESTED IN MINECRAFT!!!
first things first
-Get wood thats why u hear the term "punching wood"
-create 3 wood planks
-make a wooden pickaxe
-go mining for 3 stone blocks
-make a stone pickaxe
-mine fro 3 iron place it into a furncace made out of 9 blocks
-make an iron pickaxe
-and start crafting tools like swords,shovels,pickaxes,hoes
-make a house with either wood or stone (easiest to come accros) you will evantually get to know minecraft by experience and youube Hope i Helped join my server its survivall

open nei and spawn some shtuffs
But what if you're on a server?
^ That seems to be the method everyone follows. I get wood first and look for food.
- Spawn in
- Find home location
- Get wood
- Get iron
- Collect lots, and lots, and lots, of materials.
- Build a bigger house.
Repeat.
