Hunger Bug - Instant Hunger Drop

Several times, in single and multiplayer, I have experienced an unusual bug, while doing something or nothing at all, my hunger will instantly drop for no logical reason. My guess is this is a bug in the 1.2 update I am experiencing. If you've had this issue as well, comment your thoughts on it. What a pain in the butt.

yep, and it is still in 1.3.2. it is VERY anoying.
Haaaaha . Betcha jebs tryin to troll us on the hungergames by dropping our hunger bars like that.
Nah, I bet they just failed.
It's a bug.. Update to the most recent Minecraft version, which is 1.2.3 currently.
I experienced the same problem I hunger will instantly drop but I don't stave to death and also when I eat food nothing happens
