I was wonder if anyone else was experiencing this, or could help me. I heard that may be that minecraft is running the wrong graphics card but I don't know how to change because I don't have NVIDIA I have intel, I know its not a great graphics card but in 1.5 I was getting 40+ fps without optifine. So could someone help me, or tell me how to switch the graphics card that minecraft runs?

Just deal with the lag, unless it's getting in the way a lot.
on the new launcher, go to
Edit Profile >> Check JCM Argumes >> In the new box, delete that code, and type in -Xmx10G

Ive seen a lot of ppl compain about that but... i was getting 30 FPS with 1.5 now im getting 80 with 1.6,
The best advice i can give is update java and allocate more memory to minecraft
Sadly I've done both of those, and they havent helped much only added about 3fps to then game. Hopefully when optifine comes out it will help
my advice is my computer has a little bit of ram

You fix it by naming a Horse "Dinnerbone" Or "Grumm". It's a easter egg Lag Phix added by Jeb!
