Ive found my Minecraft Alpha file folder. Heres my question about it: My i post it as a mod so other people can downlaod it and play it? Minecraft is allowed to be pirated (said by Notch on his Twitter account) so I wish to help other people who are stuck with playing Classic and help them try out the Alpha Version so they dont have to buy it (which brings in alot of issues that i might explain if I feel like it). So may i post the file and let people download it?

If you are talking about posting the files and the jar I honestly would not. True Notch stated he does not care if you pirate the game, but he does not approve of it. I see where you're coming from but it's still piracy.
Edit: I'm not 100% sure about PMC rules about something like this but I know that this would not be considered a mod so it wouldn't be posted there anyway.
