ye im working on an xray bat still it isent working cosue i need the mcp for 1.0.0 to add some new features so it will dern work

MCP is not essential.
MCP just makes it easier, it is still possible to decompile, work with obfuscated code, and recompile again using java tools like JD-gui, and the javac command line.

Incorrect. MC Patcher is to 'patch' HD texture packs for Minecraft, so the blocks aren't all messed up.

minecrafts ben out for 1 day since minecrafts been updated the coding will be changed and things will conflict with mods and meaning the modders will have to remake the mods with different ids + classes which requires the minecraft coder pack which needs to be updated for the same reasons (if i made a mistake feel free to correct my knowledge)

where do you put a mod in a folder cuz i dont know anything about mods and how the work cna someone help plz!

first goto start and type in %appdata% then click on the .minecraft folder. then goto bin then open your .jar file with winrar or 7zip, DELETE THE META-INFif you dont then you just messed up the whole thing. then drag and drop the class files from the mod into the class files in your .jar file. if there is a resources folder in the mod then after you drag and drop the class files go back to bin then click on resources then just drag and drop again(not on a folder) and if there is a MACOSX folder then ignore that UNLESS you have a mac (any type) and thats how you install a mod.

Use Mcpatcher (which HAS been updated for 1.0.0 full game). Look at tutorials for help, but just because its a mod for hd texture packs doesn't mean it isn't for mods as well... I use that for modding anyway. Its really useful as u can manage different mods but out of game.
Also the toomanyitems mod has been released and the mini map mod has as well been released for 1.0.0 . Look on the internet for more info.

Drag class fies into minecraft.jar and anything else in the mod and delete META-INF folder.
You'll also need modloader if its not like toomanyitems.
