Minecraft Not launching up full

Ok. So I have recently (a few days ago) had this problem. When i hit play on the minecraft launcher, the "minecraft window" opens, but then goes into "Not Responding"
mode until I close it. A useless, "Mojang" screen. And I was going to record a video!

a log would help
Try deleting your .minecraft folder and installing it again.
How long do you wait for it? That usually happens for me, but it just takes several minutes to load. Try just leaving it and waiting for several minutes, and try using optifine if you're not.
