What do you guys feel is one of the contributing factors to Minecrafts success as a game and some of its greatest accomplishments?

Personally, I feel its versatility is one of its most substantial contributing factors. Due to its progression and continue-es adaptions through mods and update the game is able to be experienced in so many different ways it never loses its players interest. Many games lose players over time due to a new sequel or plainly loss of interest due to lack of depth and new expansions, they run out of things to do. Minecraft thankfully will never have that problem in any foreseeable future.
