Since I have no clue as to how to make one here a bunch of ideas that anyone can make. Some may of been mentioned but make sure to read the description of each because it may actually be different otherwise just look on.

1. TNT Stick. Half the potency of a TNT Block but once thrown it is activated with a 3 sec timer.

2. Space Age TNT. Just like regular TNT but stays in place when activated.

3. Time Bomb. Has a clock on the sides and can be toggled by right clicking. Can be toggled to instant, or 1-5 secs. People stop missing the INSTANT part. You cant currently make TNT blow up the instant its activated!

4. Climbable, Allows player to grab onto a ledge and be able to pull yourself up, drop down, or be able to go across the ledge while still hanging. (An example of what im talking about can be seen in newer Mario or Zelda games)

5. Zelda Arrows, Light, Fire, Ice, And Bomb Arrows. Effects are
---Light, Deals more damage in dark areas and makes any mob hit with it radiate light like a torch for a short time.
---Fire, Deals regular damage but sets mobs or burnable blocks on fire.
---Ice, Deals regular damage and temporarily freezes mob or freezes water.
---Bomb, Explodes on contact obviously killing what you aimed at and leaving a small hole. Smaller than a TNT Block.

6. Catapult, When placed it would shoot towards you, must be activated by redstone or a device like a lever. Catapults will have 1 inventory space, and launches objects 5 spaces away in a high arc trajectory. If its TNT, it will be launched and activated. Snowballs will launch 3-6 of them with a mild spread. This could be good in siege like maps where you want to shoot over a wall and not through a wall. (People dont seem to get this one :/ )

7. Iceball, Works like snowballs but deal a small amount of damage.

8. Launchpad and Cushion, When placed it will launch things exactly 10 blocks away and yourself 5 blocks away in the direction you placed it. All things will be launched 5 blocks high as well. The Cushion will prevent any damage if fallen on from high heights.

9. Wind. Gives minecraft WIND! Objects thrown off of high areas will no longer fall straight down, instead it will drift whichever way the wind is blowing. Of course thats just an example. It will also effect yourself when falling. Wind periodically will change directions and strength. The closer to water level the less powerful the wind can be. Wind will not generated underground but can be blown into caves to a certain distance thus preventing caves and tunnels from being crazy wind tunnels.
HOW IS THIS ONE POINTLESS? COMBINE THIS WITH #10 and #11 PEOPLE!

10. Deployable Parachute. Would work nicely with #9. Allows people to enjoy base jumping and deploying a parachute that you can control. The parachute will have limited uses and if used on the last try it will rip when deployed, the person could still make it to ground but will take some damage.

11. Hang Glider. Also a great idea with #9, allows more control than the parachute in a sense but will revert back to its original items if crashed into something hard enough. if landed safely you can "mine" it and pick it back up without it reverting to the craft item.

12. Wall Pressure Plate. Allows a special Pressure plate that can be placed on walls and ceilings and is activated when an arrow hits it. This would allow for more ways to hide switches for hidden doorways and could help make RPGs.

13. Placeable Watches. Takes those things that show you what time of the day it is and allows them to be placed on walls.

14. Tripwire. A hard to see wire that when broken will activate redstone. To lay tripwire of various lengths all you need to do is set the tripwire next to one another.

15. Physics Bound dropped items. seen this somewhere else and thought it would be cool. Instead of dropped items floating above the ground it would be made in 3D (probably through voxels like the held items are) and would lay on the ground and if another item is dropped onto a previously dropped item it would then attempt to roll off that item. Dont go downing this as its asthetics! not all mods are made to be functional!

16. A way to make the debug screen invisible BUT STILL ON. Or whatever the F3 thing is called. As its been documented and proven that while its on, people with Intel processors CAN get a big FPS boost. Now Optifine is great and all but sometimes it just doesnt give a big enough boost.

My view on the ideas-

TNT Stick- Already done. WWII guns mod OR Weapons mod. Not new.

Space Age TNT- OR you could just put a block under it.

Time Bomb- This is what redstone/repeaters are for. Set to no delay for instant, create multiple with delays for 5 seconds.

Climbable- Again, ladders? The coding involved would be complex for an end result of something not all that cool.

Zelda Arrows- Already done. Elemental arrows mod.

Catapult- Eitiher use a dispenser with arrows or a bow. An arc would just make it more useless. Aiming for distance would be a pain in the

Iceball- WHY!?

Launchpad and Cushion- Sorta covered in Portal Gun mod. Launchpad is done, cushion is instead a piece of armor.

Wind- So unbelievably pointless, replying to it was almost as pointless.

Parachute- Good idea, I bet it has already been done and didn't receive much hubbub because there's not many features.

Hang Glider- Meh idea. It would be annoying.

Wall Pressure Plate- Useless for normal gameplay, can see it being a good function in challenge maps, but then everyone would have to install it.

Placeable Watches- Done already. Wall Clock mod.

Tripwire- Done already. Better Than Wolves mod.

Physics bound dropped items- WHY!? JUST WHY!? It would only change visuals, and the coding involved be so unbelievably complex, it would take weeks of dedication to make.

IdealIdeas91How can a bow/arrow and dispenser be a catapult?

It doesnt shoot anything in a High Arc Trajectory. Why would we even need that >.>

Also the climbing would be useful for exploring and for people that dont want to make/waste ladders to climb a 2 block high wall. just dig some dirt and jump up.

And How can you use repeaters on TNT to make it blow up INSTANTLY. meaning the second you activate it is the second it goes off!

Useless.

why would we need half the stuff we have now?
Because people like to make ridiculous things!

And maybe someone wouldnt want to dig some dirt and then jump up.

Stop trying to put me down! Go somewhere else!
