Problem: after moving my in-game avatar at all (first), I am unable to start mining while moving and there is a delay (about the length of time it takes for a sword or axe to recharge after attacking something) before I am able to mine at all.
Request: Does anyone know how to fix this so that I can once again mine after I've started moving/while moving. This is frustrating as just last week, there was a seamless transition.
More Info: I've recently had to reset my computer, so I may have fixed this issue in the past but didn't realize/know what I was doing. Therefore, any in game settings have been reset (I suspect the issue is somewhere in here). Any help would be appreciated.
Specs: Running Minecraft Java 1.15.2, 64-bit system, Java Version 8 Update 241 (build 1.8.0_241-b07)

Update: I don't know what was causing the issue (maybe sticky-keys?), but after rebooting my computer from scratch rather than just restarting my apps, this problem is solved.
Solution: Restart your computer??
New question: how does one close a thread? Do I need an admin to do this?

Interesting discover: I can mine after i've begun moving ONLY WHEN I'm sprinting.
Edit: I also can't attack blocks with my fist.
Edit: I cannot typically mine while crouching (again only if I started moving first before holding left click)
I say typically because the exceptions are:
--if, while crouch/moving, I look straight down and attempt to mine the block beneath me for a microsecond. Then I can mine while moving like regular.
--if, while crouch/moving, I also tap my set hot key for sprinting (left alt). Of course this doesn't actually put me in sprinting mode as it is overridden by my character crouching.
