Need help picking out a graphic card

Hey guys I'm looking to spend around 70 dollars or less for a graphics card because I'm getting low frame rate and i can't play a bunch of games cause it only has a little more then 1.5 GB of ram.
My current specs.
Ram: 12 GB
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-2320 Processor 3.00 GHz
Operating system: Windows 7 64-bit
Graphic card: Minecraft Intel HD 2000

You might want to look at the CPU too. I thought my computer needed a new graphics card the most but i took a look at the CPU usage in task manager when running games and it's on 100% (meaning that EVERYTHING will lag)

The cpu should be fine. Its an i5 mid range

NVIDIA GTX 500 and up should be great. You can also get some ATI Raedons, ATI 7870 might be a bit expensive but it's totally worth it.

Dont get a 500. The 600 series is much better and more energy efficient etc. Also, he said he wants it under 70, a 7870 is way above that

Which is also ehat im saving up for, after i get a widescreen monitor and a big enough psu to run the 650 ti

What wattage is it? 450+ should be fine

what games do you want to play and at what settings? If its demanding games like Battlefield 3 etc you wont get a gfx card at that price which can play those demanding games at max or even high settings. If its only for minecrft a gt 620 would be perfect
