New Craftbukkt update
Every time I log onto my bukkit server, I get a purple message that tells me that my version of Craftbukkit is out of date. If I update to the newest version of Craftbukkit, will I loose everything from my server? Or is it even necessary to update? Any help would be much appreciated!

Wait, there is no bukkit build for 1.6.4 so just stay on 1.6.2 thats wht im doing

Plugins probably won't be incompatible, really - It's just fixing login shtuffs.. I'd update - And if plugins DO stop working, check for updates to those plugins. If they've not updated, then go back to the previous craftbukkit build.
You won't lose anything, some plugins might be incompatible, but you won't lose anything.
