There is now a book change exploit that can now change your author. i hate it beacuse thers now a book hack that when you click it it ops you or you can do what ever command you want the player to do.
PS: the exploit can change it to the admin name so the player gets op and griefs the server. i hate it D:

I don't see the value in this exploit as a hacking tool. All it does is change the author's name. Does changing the author change who executes a command in the book?

no it doesnt when you have a book and quilt in your hand thats signed you do .author (minecraft name hear) then it changes the book author to a minecraft name that you choose Like Notch Jeb_ herobrine and more.

Secondly, why is the author changer bug so bad? I mean, the worst you can do is prank your friends with a Jeb_ book and whatnot.

they can use the book exploit to op there selfs and who ever did that the person who the author will get banned or kick
