Odd NPC showing up (Spoiler: it isn't Herobrine.)

Just wanted to share a weird thing that literally just happened. It's not creepy per se, but it is rather mysterious...
I downloaded a world save (Arboreal, an entry in one of the build contests) for the second time. I went to a little house on a floating island. I entered the house and a villager named "Mr. Hayward" (or something like that) appeared! I right clicked him. He had nothing to trade. I pressed Esc and my game crashed. I was able to reload the world, but I haven't seen the NPC since. What the heck is going on here?!
Mods I was using: Mo' Creatures, MrCrayfish, Bibliocraft, Better Foliage, Too Many Items, Optifine, maybe Decocraft.

Cheetah, you might be right. Anyway, I think I'll just let this die. Just a weird glitch.

Maybe you should check your code to see if anything went wrong? Sometimes, people who are really good with computers can change game code to something really wacky, trust me, my brother does it all the time

Roseora, you're right, probably a glitch. No villages in this map though.

Maybe it was near a villageandhe just spawned there, idk. Probably a glitch. If he was amed though it means a player must have spawned him or at least named him.

JoaoPauloC and anyone who suggested that it's part of the map, it's not. Download the map, there's a link somewhere in this thread. I tried again once or twice and found no villagers.

Maybe it was part of the map but you were playing an earlier version of it and it crashed because it maybe got deleted in the older versions? can not type no more dcared of what Blue said

Perhaps a custom villager that the person put in there?

This happens a lot, the game probably thinks that the villager didn't exist, and when you tried to trade with him, the game got confused and crashed.

Maybe he's just part of the map.

No redstone in there, and I'd done nothing to the world. If you want to see if you can replicate the glitch, the floating island with the house is separate from the tree and not too hard to find.

How about /summon + Command blocks/extreme redstone circuitry.

It was a SINGLEPLAYER world I downloaded and opened with mods. None of the mods concerned villagers.

could of been /npc create (a plugin on a server) or more npcs
