People keep stealing my skins

I use two sites for skinning, 1 NovaSkin, 2 Skindex and I just upload my skins on here. Recently though, people on skindex have been stealing my skins, and it's fine, I can report them, but people keep voting for the stolen skins more than my originals.
eg: http://www.minecraftskins.com/skin/4225511/nightcore/ was stolen from http://www.minecraftskins.com/skin/4214908/mizuki/ , which was my skin, yet people voted more for the stolen one? I don't understand why, can anyone give me an answer as to why people seem to vote for the stolen skins more than the originals?
Yes, before you all say, I know it's skindex and stealing is to be expected, but people's attitude towards stealing is just bad.

one thing I might recommend is placing some text in the empty blocks of a skin. That way, chances are that you can prove it. think of it as a watermark.

The problems with these sights is that they dont do what pmc does. They dont have enough people to watch the sight and take the skin down. I say to just upload them to pmc best way to get your point out :/

They do, Kaev and they even have the exact time uploaded with seconds, which helps, thing is though, there aren't that many mods on skindex, compared to here, and it can take days for skins to be deleted.

You should just not upload them to minecraftskins
And just only to pmc even you wont get more vieuws
And you can just see if a skin is stolen and just go report them until they stop stealing

I don't just upload them to minecraftskins, I upload them on here too.

Maybe you could make your own website uing webs (one of the free ones) and upload your skins to there and just direct people to it. Just an idea.

Welcome to the world of skin stealing. I'd say, get used to it, it happens everywhere. You just have to live with it really, and make a name for yourself so people recognize your skins, not someone else's.

If you have such a problem with it, how about not use NovaSkin or Skindex? I havn't tried either so I can't comment. But MCSkin3D is a very popular one on this site, it's made by the site developer, and has some amazing features.
If you must keep using them sites, then surely like PMC they have a date uploaded? That confirms it's yours easily.

Well, because they have no idea that the skin is stolen in the first place. Take pride in that people enjoy seeing your work, and report it if you must; I'm just happy someone's using a skin that I made, even if they think that someone else made it.
