I want to find a stronghold in the pre release but i cant find one. if anyone knows a seed that is close to a stronghold please let me know. I really want to go to the End.

i tried following eye of ender but it takes forever
I had to go over 1000 blocks to find my stronghold. Be patient or just don't go.
Or, go to Zaphod's wonderful blog he posted, download two class, drag them into your .jar and right click with a diamond sword to get to 'The End'
Does anyone ever read threads before they post?

If u want a stronghold just use eye of Enders
Rightclick to throw an eye of ender in the air.
Follow the eye of ender to reach a stronghold. Simple.
