Problem with Minecraft.net

Has anyone else noticed that in the Minecraft website, if you're not logged in, there's a link that lets you download the game without proof that you've already bought it. There is also another link allowing you to buy Minecraft. So there is an option to pay 20 dollars or get it free.

The launcher checks to be sure you bought it.
You download the launcher, not the game. The launcher downloads all the assets and the actual game.
