Presently, at Normal and Far sight ranges, we can see the sun moon and sky and the horizon nicely too.

But at Short and Tiny sight ranges, we see only some kind of weird fog and no sun no moon no starts and no horizon either.

This sucks because it is harder to orient yourself in order to get around and very hard to know how much daytime is left before night comes.

That weird "distance fog" should be a couple blocks "deep", located ONLY at the limit of the actual sight range, with everything that is before the near-the-max-sight-range staying perfectly visible and "clear as day", not some fog that seem to start right at your nose and then progressively become thicker and thicker and thicker.

And most of all the sun moon and sky should be visible at all sight ranges even WITH thick fog. That fog after all ain't there to hide the sky or to represent some "real" foggy area, it's supposed to be there ONLY to make the transition between "max sight" and "void" look less sharp/ugly.

The sun moon and sky are ALL "further away" than 256 blocks, after all, yet we can easily see them without some weird fog at Normal and Far so yeah the SHORTER sight ranges should behave EXACTLY identically, EXCEPT for the fact that you have a shorter sight range - DUH. Good work on that one Mojang !

If feels more like there is some kind of weird untoggable option somewhere: "Hide Horizon and Sky with Thick Deep Fog", that appears *only* at Tiny or Small sight ranges.
