The leading reason Mojang has not implemented this is because it's extremely difficult to code them so they can't fly through things. It's why they let the ender dragon do just that.

It would be pretty cool, but wouldn't fit into the game.

Would be nice if they could hatch if left in the end map for so many days, since then you can replay the dragon boss for exp.

Baby dragons would be amazing...and there's baby almost everything else...I'm sure it wouldn't be to hard to do if they wanted to.

I do not think dragon eggs should hatch. They're trophies, they don't need to be anything more. People started freaking out when Jeb gave mobs armor, can you imagine the outrage that would occur over hatching dragon eggs. Plus the fact that Minceraft is meant to be a simple and creative game where you can do whatever you so please. Dragons makes it much more complicated, and especially doesn't fit into the main theme of the game itself.

Would be pretty awesome. What if once it grew up it became a stronger dragon, that when killed drops idk something powerful.

Maybe there should be an incubator to hatch them so you could hatch them only if you want to.
