Mojang have said the sound effects will be coming soon.
Hopefully they have different sounds compared to just one sound that repeats...
Most sounds in Minecraft have several variations. I would expect the same with fireworks.
It would be cool if they made one whistle as it flies up and emit a small pop like in real life, for the smaller fireworks of course.
Fireworks already have sounds in the latest snapshot i think. Might be wrong tho

They don't at the moment, they just fly up into the sky and explode. It would be cool if they made different sounds for each different effect.

Should all caps not be allowed in PMC Well. the're not, anyways Im pretty sure the sound will be implimented, c418 did say he was working on it, if not they should be in by 12w51a if any, btw try not to use all caps
