Should Mojang change the new Quartz Bricks?

Mojang added a lot of new content in 20w15a, including Quartz Bricks. However, they don't connect as well as the other big bricks. Should Mojang change them?

Needs stairs, slabs and walls. They also need to borders removed, and they currently just look like quartz blocks with 2 lines.
