It is happening 2 everybody it happens about 2/3rds of the time

yeah the same exact thing is happening to me, i have steve skin and so does every1 else on the server, im pretty sure though that the programmers let out 1.3 they screwed up on the skins or something, i agree with trrnshow. i wish some1 new how to fix it

Noooo, cuz the programmers screwed up and now the player skins sometimes don't show. How do i know it's not the popularity of minecraft ruining servers?
1.2.5 worked fine, everybody was happy
1.3 came out. and Minecraft was ruined

Same Here. I just Changed my skin to a Creeper and nothing happened. Just normal steve. I've tried changing it multiple times, but it wont work. Other players are not Normal Steves, Though.

Ya like a couple hours a go it went out, but it was fixed when i relogged, not its not working at all.

Yes. I have the same problem. I tried getting a hacked client. I kept the same Minecraft that i had used before too. I deleted all the hacked clients and all but it still wont show up. Even other players are default skin. I tried re-downloading my skin from Minecraft.net but it didn't work. Maybe try re downloading Minecraft. I haven't but i think we/you should try. I hope i fix this soon. Anyone else have suggestions?
