It's been a few years since I've been able to pursue hobbies due to life being very rocky and wild, but this year has been a really nice change of pace and I've gotten back into Minecraft building. I just wanted to share some of the things I'm proud of :)

it would add quite a lot of detail if you put an end rod on top of the diorite wall on your survival starter house, but it is a survival house so you might not be able to do that
yes, i did think of doing that but then I realised I still only have iron gear in my survival world haha

thanks! I love experimenting with random blocks and seeing what will work. I used smokers and looms for a border on the small house as well as banners for windows! I definitely tried a lot of new things there but I am glad it turned out well :)
Do you only use one texture pack? Sometimes I switch back to vanilla and the design doesn't really work anymore.
I use Vanilla Tweaks! I prefer to build with minimal to no texture packs so that I know my builds look good without texture packs. :)

Small house: looks abandoned but cozy
Cabin: that's a big cabin! Hope it's warm
Gas station: a bit tacky/strong-coloured on the outside for my taste, but the inside looks modern
