Strange explosion on Singleplayer server
There was a strange explosion on my Single player server. I was playing on peaceful, and i built a small shack in the woods. I went exploring, but when i came back, IT WAS ALMOST COMPLETELY GONE. Again, it was on peaceful, so it couldn't have been a creeper, It couldn't have been TNT, because again, IT WAS SINGLE PLAYER. I obviously wouldn't destroy my own building unless i didn't want it anymore, in which case I would use about 50 blocks of TNT. I need some explanation!

By singleplayer server, he probably means he made a server but didn't port-forward, making it a LAN server, but he has no siblings so it is like a singleplayer one.

Guys when he says singleplayer server he means in 1.3.1 just gettin that out there.
If you are running a server but you are the only one playing on it, it might as well be lag.
could have been endermen, its a rare occurrence for so many of them to all take your house apart, but it could happen.
Did you have a diff world named the same? If so did you put TNT in the spot in the other world and lit it but you crashed/logged off the the world deleted it's self?if so it generated and exploded

Could be a lighting strike. Lighting storms happen and they usually set things on fire. However, I have no idea about the explosion. Herobrine only exists as a mod, creeper glitch on peaceful maybe?
It was lava spawn glitch. It did the same thing to me. What it does: Spawns lava randomly based off of seed. Lava despawns after about 64 seconds. That is what happens to so many people.
Lava doesn't despawn unless taken with a bucket.....*Which isn't exactly despawning.*

i got a complicated explanation maybe a spiderjockey saw u and fird an arrow but hit a creeper instead and then the creeper exploded ur house
A similar thing happened to me. one day i had been mining alot and when i returned to my house (that was built of wood) i saw flames everywhere. This was on singleplayer and the only possiblility i can think of is that a glitch must have occured and a ghast must have spawned. The ghast then set my house on fire with is fire balls
What Might have happened with you is that a nearby hidden lava pool caught trees on fire then it spread to your house, this happened to me. i spawned built a tiny shack then found a pool of lava by my house, i was in the jungle biome so the fire quickly spread

Maybe he doesn't know what he's talking about or he means a LAN server in 1.3
i dont have an explanation but similar things have happened to me but when i come back theres a new building on my original place and then ill log off and nothing will be there
