The dungeon of... pigs?

Hi!
I was just casually playing minecraft one day, mining in my mine (what else would I be mining in), and I found 6 lapis ore. I thought it was good luck, but nearby I found 4 diamond ore. I mined for a while and then I found some cobblestone, I mined through it, and I found a dungeon. But nothing was spawning in it. And then I realised that in the middle was a pig spawner! Later, when I put grass near it, it was spawning pigs! Please tell me if anything like this has ever happened to you.

Yes cause you got grass into your mine. The only way that happened is if you had a silk touch tool and I doubt that is the case. You could have also spawned it in which just makes it seem more obvious that pigs didnt actually spawn. Also sometimes it bugs out and you see a pig but its really not.
