Do you think the Deep Dark Caves that are coming to Minecraft will or have a connection to the End? If so tell others why!

Unlikely, because the End is intimately linked to strongholds, and that game progression (Nether Portal > Nether Fortress > Blaze Rod > Eye of Ender > Stronghold > End) has been well established since the official release. The way I see it, Caves & Cliffs is an expansion of the Overworld, just as the previous update was an expansion of the Nether.
