Am i the only one who misses the good ol' classic servers?

i miss those classic minecraft servers that could be found on minecraft.net. it would be nice if Mojang or Microsoft (which ever one has the rights to do that now) could re- implement them, as they were fun to play in my opinion. i liked their basic feeling and simplicity, as well as the people that could be found their. what do you guys think?

I'd imagine there would be issues with the people who were running those servers, many of them have probably moved on and would be either unable or unwilling to host the old servers again. It would be cool though, as there were some fun ones I used to play on a lot.

i really miss those servers. they were almost always active 24/7. i really want them back.
